The coat of arms of Abkhazia is the coat of arms of the Republic of Abkhazia . In July 1992 the Supreme Soviet of Abkhazia introduced the coat of arms after the secession from Georgia .

The coat of arms is split from white and green, with a golden border . It is divided by a golden rider looking to the heraldic right , shooting an arrow upwards. There is an eight-pointed, flower-like star in the base and a little smaller in the right and left upper corners.

The rider symbolizes the Abkhazian Prometheus Abriskil and his horse Arasch.
