Coat of arms of Pakistan
The national coat of arms of Pakistan was adopted in 1955 following a government proposal.
The coat of arms is a quartered shield, which symbolizes agriculture by depicting the four most important crops at the time of the adoption of the coat of arms ( cotton , jute , tea , wheat ) in one coat of arms . The first green field shows the heraldic figure in a silver set up diamond , in the second and third field in silver green heraldic figures. The last or fourth field is divided into silver-green and shows four plants.
The mogul- style green wreath of jasmine , the national flower of Pakistan, around the coat of arms refers to the history of the country.
The tape under the wreath contains the Urdu national motto, coined by Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah ايمان ، اتحاد ، نظم, Iman, Ittehad, Nazm ("Faith, Unity, Discipline"), in Urdu .
Above the coat of arms in green, a crescent moon placed on the left and a star that represents the Islamic majority religion in Pakistan .
From independence in 1947 to the proclamation of the republic in 1955, a flag drapery served as a national emblem.
