The Waterways and Shipping Office Mannheim (WSA Mannheim) was a waterways and shipping office in Germany. It belonged to the service area of the General Directorate for Waterways and Shipping , formerly the Waterways and Shipping Directorate Southwest .
By merging the waterways and shipping authorities in Mannheim and Freiburg , the new waterways and shipping department for Upper Rhine was merged on October 22, 2019 .
Area of responsibility
The Mannheim Waterways and Shipping Office was responsible for the Rhine federal waterways from the German-French border to Mainz (Weisenauer bridge of the A 60 ), the Old Rhine Lampertheim and Stockstadt-Erfelden and the Neckar from the confluence with the Rhine to the branch of the side canal in Mannheim .

The tasks of the Waterways and Shipping Office Mannheim included:
- Maintenance of federal waterways in the official area
