The World Pool Series 2017 - Grand Finale (including Predator World Series championship in 2017 ) was a great 8-Ball - Pool Tournament that from 31 October to 3 November 2017 in Steinway Billiards in New York district of Astoria in the United States was held. It was the fourth tournament of the World Pool Series (WPS) and marked the end of the first season of this tournament series.

The winner was Eklent Kaçi , who had already won the second WPS tournament . The 18-year-old Albanian won the final against the Finn Petri Makkonen with 13:11. Third place went to Wu Kun-lin from Taiwan and Dennis Orcollo from the Philippines . The winners of the two other previous WPS tournaments were eliminated early: Ruslan Tschinachow lost in the round of 16 against Jayson Shaw and Skyler Woodward was eliminated in the preliminary round.

The challenge tournament taking place at the same time, the Highrock Challenge , was won by the Philippine Lee Van Corteza with an 11: 3 final victory over the Taiwanese Lo Li-wen .

The 68 participants competed against each other in the double knockout system up to the round of 16 and then in the knockout system . The goal was nine games in the double knockout phase, eleven games in the knockout phase and thirteen games in the final. Thereby each had to be won with a lead of at least two points. When the score was 8: 8 (preliminary round) or 10:10 (final round), a shootout was played in which both players played five balls from a given position and received one point for each ball sunk.
