The 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee 1960/61 was the first season of the joint division of the Württemberg Football Association and the South Baden Football Association . It was also the eleventh season of the first amateur league Wuerttemberg and the first amateur league South Baden and the first season in which in Württemberg in the two seasons Nordwürttemberg and Black Forest-Lake Constance and in South Baden in the two seasons southern Baden and Black Forest-Lake Constance was played.
The decision to introduce the Black Forest-Lake Constance League was made during the association days of the Württemberg Football Association in Aalen and the South Baden Football Association in Radolfzell on July 3, 1960.
The championship of the Black Forest-Bodensee-Liga won the SC Schwenningen in front of the two teams VfR Schwenningen and FV Ravensburg after play-offs. In the promotion round to the II. Division , Schwenningen failed at FC Hanau 93 .
The FC Furtwangen and FC Ueberlingen went directly into the second amateur league south bathing Season III. The equal points teams of SV Spaichingen and FC Radolfzell played a playoff, which Spaichingen lost and thus also relegated (to the 2nd amateur league Württemberg).
