Roman Empire
- November 1st : Lucius Sulla defeats the followers of Marius and the Samnites in the battle of Porta Collina . After that, the dictatorship was transferred to him in Rome .
- Sulla has thousands of Romans murdered, including several senators. In the months that followed, he reformed the political system to restore Senate power. At the age of 18 Julius Caesar fled Rome and escaped the bounty hunters.
