The  Rhineland Amateur Football League 1964/65  was the 13th season of the 1st Amateur League , the predecessor of  the Rhineland Association League, also known as the Rhineland League. This league represented the substructure of the Regionalliga Südwest until 1974 and was thus third-class in the overall league hierarchy.

Rhineland champion was SpVgg Bendorf . The SSV Mülheim took the Rheinland-representatives at the German Football Amateur Championship in 1965 in part, failed there in the quarter-finals of Westphalia representative SpVgg Erkenschwick .

The descent into the 2nd amateur league had to go to SC Oberlahnstein , VfB Wissen and newcomer TuS Mosella Schweich . For the following season 1965/66 came as a climber from the 2nd amateur league of SV Prüm , the FV Rheingold Rübenach and the Sportfreunde Herdorf , as well as from the II. Division as a relegated Germania Metternich .
