The District Court of Dettelbach was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1943 and was based in Dettelbach in Lower Franconia .

history

In 1804, when Bavaria was reorganized, the Dettelbach Regional Court was established. From 1806 to 1814 it was a regional court in the Grand Duchy of Würzburg and then became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Dettelbach was established, the district of which included the area of ​​the previous district court district of Dettelbach and thus the communities of Albertshofen , Bibergau , Brück , Dettelbach, Dipbach , Effeldorf , Euerfeld , Gerlachshausen , Hörblach , Mainsondheim , Mainstockheim , Münsterschwarzach , Neuses am Berg , Neusetz , Oberpleichfeld , Prosselsheim , Püssensheim , Schernau , Schnepfenbach , Schwarzenau and Stadtschwarzach . The higher-level instances were the Würzburg Regional Court and the Bamberg Higher Regional Court . On April 1, 1926, the Albertshofen community was assigned to the Kitzingen District Court district.

In 1943 the Dettelbach District Court was closed and its district was assigned to the Kitzingen District Court.

The building is currently used as the seat of the Dettelbach city administration.
