Andreas Hermansson (born January 8, 1973 in Flurkmark , Umeå municipality ) is a Swedish football player . The striker won the Swedish championship title with Hammarby IF in 2001 .

Career

Hermansson started playing football in his hometown in the youth of Flurkmark IK . He came to Umeå FC in 1991 through the youth team of local rivals Sandåkern SK . With his new club, he rose to the second division at the end of the spring series the following year. There the club established itself quickly and in 1994 reached the promotion series to Allsvenskan as second in the table . Although the club failed there with a 2-0 away defeat and a 0-0 draw at Gothenburg club Västra Frölunda IF , Hermannsson had also made a name for himself in a higher class.

Before the start of the first division season in 1995 , Hermansson joined Trelleborgs FF . Under coach Tom Prahl , the team placed tenth with three points ahead of the relegation places occupied by IFK Norrköping and Östers IF . Even after the coach's departure at the end of the season, he fought with the club against relegation in the following years. In the 1997 season he made his final breakthrough in the first division. With 13 goals this season, he helped the club again to tenth place in the table. Together with Andreas Andersson he was one goal behind the top scorer trio Mats Lilienberg , Christer Mattiasson and Dan Sahlin, one of the top scorers' lists.

Hermansson left the club after the end of the season to join the top club and runner-up IFK Göteborg . With the club, however, he slipped into the middle league area, so that Mats Jingblad was replaced by Reine Almqvist during the season. Although the club upgraded with Håkan Mild and Bengt Andersson , Hermansson's eight goals this season helped him - making him the club's best internal goalscorer - only to reach eighth place. Also in the following season there was only a slight upturn and Hermansson could not match the accuracy of the previous years. After the offensive player remained unsuccessful, he was only second choice under coach Stefan Lundin .

In the 2000 season, Hermansson changed clubs again and went to Allsvenskan rivals Hammarby IF. Under coach Sören Cratz , who pulled the team out of the relegation battle last year, the team occupied eighth place in the table. Hermansson formed the attack of the Stockholm club with Kaj Eskelinen and showed his old scoring danger with nine goals this season. In the following season, the club sat down from the start in the front of the table. Nevertheless, the club dismissed coach Cratz in the course of the season because he was playing unattractive football. After this decision, the team was welded to players like Peter Markstedt , Kennedy Bakırcıoğlu , Suleyman Sleyman , Christer Fursth and Jonas Stark and won the Lennart Johansson Cup for the Swedish national champions at the end of the season . Hermansson contributed to this with 14 goals this season and again missed the top scorer title by one goal, which Stefan Selakovic got from seventh Halmstads BK . In the following season it became apparent that the team had played at the upper limit. As ninth in the table, the club was only four points ahead of the relegation place occupied by IFK Göteborg. Hermansson could not confirm his performance from the previous year and scored six goals this season.

Hermansson left the Stockholm club and signed a contract with first division promoted Enköpings SK . However, the team around Jonny Rödlund , Johan Wallinder and Niclas Norell had no chance in the Swedish elite series. Although Hermansson scored eight goals this season, the club finished last after only three wins this season. The striker then left the relegated team and played for GIF Sundsvall . Also with this club he was relegated from the first division in 2005, but remained loyal to him in the second division. Despite his ten goals this season in the second division season in 2006 , he missed direct recovery with the team. He then returned to his first professional station Umeå FC. As a playing assistant coach, he runs for the club in third-class Division 1 .
