Annay is a French municipality with 339 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and is part of the canton of Pouilly-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire-Nord ). She is a member of the Communauté de communes Loire et Nohain .
geography
Annay is about 55 kilometers southwest of Auxerre . Annay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Faverelles in the north, Arquian in the east, La Celle-sur-Loire in the south, Neuvy-sur-Loire in the west and Thou in the north-west.
