Ansonica Costa dell'Argentario

Ansonica Costa dell'Argentario is an Italian white wine made in the province of Grosseto in southern Tuscany . Since 1995 the wine has had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC), which was last updated on March 7, 2014.

The wine must consist of at least 85% Ansonica grape variety . A maximum of 15% other white grape varieties approved for cultivation in the Tuscany region may be added.

Cultivation

Cultivation and vinification are only permitted in municipalities and on islands in the southern province of Grosseto: Manciano , Orbetello and Capalbio and in the municipalities of the islands of the same name, Giglio and Monte Argentario .
