Montescudaio (wine region)

Red and white wines as well as a Vin Santo are produced under the name Montescudaio DOC in the wine-growing area of the same name in the province of Pisa ( Italian region Tuscany ). The wines have had a "controlled designation of origin " (" Denominazione di origine controllata " - DOC) since 1976 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014. These wines, which grow below Volterra , are highly valued locally, but rarely found in international trade.

Cultivation
