The Australia U-20 National Football Team is a selection team of Australian football players. It is subject to the Football Federation Australia and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations or at U-20 World Cups and U-19 Asian Cups . Before the Australian federation switched to the AFC in 2006, the team took part in the U-20 Oceania Championships .

The team achieved their best result at a World Cup in Portugal in 1991 and in their own country in 1993 , when they reached fourth place.

The team finished second at the Asian Cup in 2010 and reached the semi-finals in 2008 and 2012 .

Before that she was Oceania champion twelve times.
