BMW M62B44TU

The BMW M62 is an eight-cylinder V-engine from BMW and the successor to the M60 engine range. The engines were produced from 1996 to 2005 and installed in the BMW models 8 series E31 , 7 series E38 , 5 series E39 and X5 E53 . Furthermore, they were z. B. Used in Range Rover by Land Rover , Bentley Arnage and Morgan Aero 8 . The most striking changes to the predecessor were the expansion of the displacement and the introduction of the VANOS variable camshaft control in the TU version. The S62B50 engine of the BMW M5 of the E39 series and the Z8 is based on this engine range.
