Actions after device defects

Recall of dishwashers due to fire hazard

At the end of August 2013, BSH announced that around two million dishwashers from the Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Constructa and Junker + Ruh brands in Germany from 1999 to 2005 had to be converted because of a faulty component that could have caught fire in the worst case be called back . The component is an electronic relay that controls the heating of the flushing water. During the remodeling that corrects the error, the unsafe component on the motherboard is shut down. For reasons of space, the new relay is mounted under the front and connected to the board with a cable. Around five million devices had been sold worldwide. According to the company, 69 incidents had become known in Germany by then. This was one of the largest recalls in Germany to date. The company admitted the issues were known back in 2009.

Rework gas free-standing stoves
