The Benz 25/45 PS was added to the smaller Benz 24/40 PS as the next larger model in 1909 .

The car was equipped with a four cylinder in-line engine with 6330 cc capacity, the 45 HP (33 kW) at 1400 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via chains or a cardan shaft, depending on the customer's request. The top speed was 85 km / h and the fuel consumption was 24 l / 100 km.

The leaf-sprung chassis with wooden spoke wheels and pneumatic tires cost 16,000.00. The chain drive cost ℳ 1,000.00 extra.
