history

Mountains belonged in the establishment of offices in the Prussian province of Westphalia to the Office Rhynern in district Hamm . On the occasion of the city of Hamm on April 1, 1901, the district became the district of Hamm. After an area expansion in 1929, this was renamed the Unna district in October 1930 .

On January 1, 1968, the previously independent municipality of Berge was incorporated into the independent city of Hamm.

The district road K 8 leads to the neighboring town of Westtünnen.

Transportation

Berge is served by lines 21 and 22 of Stadtwerke Hamm and the regional line R 41 of the Ruhr-Lippe transport association. While all lines start in the Hammer Center, lines 21 and 22 end in Rhynern. Only the R 41 continues to Werl.
