history

When the farm was founded and when it was acquired by Heilsbronn Monastery is not known. In 1548 the monastery sold the farm to H. Vogel. This changed hands several times in the following years. In 1608 the place was referred to in the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery as "Bauer vfm Berg bey Heilßbronn". At that time it was being used by a farmer. In the aftermath of the Thirty Years War , the Berghof was deserted from 1636 to 1664, but then found a buyer in JC Agricola. In his successor, the courtyard was split in half.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Berghof belonged to Heilsbronn. The court had the Brandenburg-Ansbach monastery administrator office Heilsbronn as landlord. Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Berghof was given house number 58 in Heilsbronn. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach .

As part of the municipal edict, Berghof was assigned to the Heilsbronn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the municipality of Heilsbronn founded in 1810 .
