Steinhölzli / Weissenbühl is a Bernese quarter in the district III Mattenhof-Weissenbühl and the statistical district 16 Weisenbühl .

Adjacent quarters are Hardegg / Weissenstein , Mattenhof and Sulgenbach . In the south and southwest it forms the city limits from Bern to Köniz and Liebefeld .

In 2019, 1115 inhabitants are reported, of which 827 are Swiss and 288 foreigners.

To the east is the Steinhölzli, a small forest. The residential development is in the west and consists of apartment buildings and a few terraced houses. There are several industrial and commercial buildings at the Weissenbühl train station. The administrative buildings of the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (FOBL) and the compensation office of the Canton of Bern are located in the north-west.

The Swiss Federal Railways connect the Bern-Weissenbühl station with Bern main station and Thun . Line 3, the radial line of the Bern tram, connects Weissenbühl with Bern main station. The bus 28 operates tangentially between the stations and Weissenbühl Wankdorf.
