The Könizbergwald is a wooded ridge of hills with 674 m above sea level. M. and a Bern district in the III Mattenhof-Weissenbühl district and the statistical district 12 Holligen . Adjacent quarters are Ausserholligen and Fischermätteli as well as the Bümplizer quarters Hohliebe , Weidmatt and Bodenweid . In the south it forms the city boundary with Köniz , in the southwest with Niederwangen .
No residents are registered in the Könizbergwald quarter.
It is used as a local recreation area and with the BärnParcours Könizbergwald also for athletic training. Again and again there is criticism that forest and construction work is not carried out in a sufficiently environmentally friendly manner.
