Weyermannshaus (also: Weiermannshus ) is a Bern district in the III Mattenhof-Weissenbühl district and the statistical district 12 Holligen . Adjacent quarters are Ausserholligen , Holligen (the smaller common quarter) and Inselspital , the Untermatt and Stöckacker quarters in District VI and the Bern-Von Roll and Grosse Bremgartenwald districts in District II . The Bad Weyermannshaus bears this name - but is located in the Untermatt district on the border with Weyermannshaus.
In 2019, 2389 inhabitants are given, of which 1539 are Swiss and 850 foreigners.
The district is cut through by the Bern-Freiburg / Neuchâtel / Thun railway line, which is still running there, with several tracks and parking facilities. In the north of it there are industry and commerce, in the south the residential development.
The Warmbächli fallow land (former location of the waste incineration plant) will be available for temporary use for alternative cultural projects from 2015 to the end of 2020.
