Hohliebe settlement

Hohliebe (also in Bern German Hohliebi ) is a common quarter in the VI Bümpliz-Oberbottigen district and the statistical district 29 Bümpliz in the city of Bern . Adjacent common quarters are the Bümplizer quarters Weidmatt and Wangenmatt . In the southeast it borders the Könizbergwald in the district III Mattenhof-Weissenbühl . In the south it forms the city limits from Bern to Niederwangen .

In 2019, the resident population was 403, of which 250 were Swiss and 153 were foreigners.

Hohliebe is primarily a residential area with apartment buildings. Weidmatt's industrial development continues north of Freiburgstrasse. The bus line 27 acts as a feeder to the train and tram in the direction of the city center. The neighborhood is connected to the Autobahn 12 of the Swiss national road network via the nearby Niederwangen motorway junction .
