The Wangenmatt (also Wangematt ) is a Bern district in the VI Bümpliz-Oberbottigen district and the statistical district 29 Bümpliz . Adjacent quarters are the Bümplizer quarters Kleefeld , Weidmatt and Hohliebe as well as the part of Niederbottigen which is also in the statistical quarter 29 . In the south-west it forms the city limits from Bern to Niederwangen .
In 2019 the resident population was 482, of whom 319 were Swiss and 163 were foreigners.
The Wangenmatt is divided by the Autobahn 12 . The residential development can be found on the Stadtbach, which flows through the area. In addition, industrial development dominates. Senevita maintains a house for assisted living and care with 40 apartments and 72 care rooms in Wangenmatt.
The bus lines 27 and 31 act as feeders to the train and tram in the direction of the center. With the Niederwangen motorway junction, the district is connected to the 12 motorway of the Swiss national road network.
