The district of Bellinzona ( Italian Distretto di Bellinzona, formerly Landvogtei Bellenz ) is a district of the Swiss canton of Ticino . The main town is Bellinzona .

Communances
The only remaining commune of the Bellinzona district is the commune of Medeglia-Cadenazzo (FSO No. 5391). Until March 2005 it was called Kommunanz Medeglia-Robasacco and until December 31, 2003 it had FSO no. 5020
