Bianca Denisa Răzor (born August 8, 1994 in Cluj-Napoca ) is a Romanian athlete .

Athletic career

She has the 400-meter run as a special discipline and starts for CSA Steaua Bucharest. At the Junior World Championships in 2010 , she won the bronze medal in the 400-meter run and was disqualified with the Romanian relay in the qualifying round. In the same year she also won silver and bronze at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore . She also took part in the European Championships in Barcelona , where she took eighth place with the Romanian relay team. In 2011 she qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Paris , where she was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run. It took part in the Youth World Championships in Lille , France , where she was fifth in the individual competition and came in sixth with the sprint relay. At the Junior European Championships in 2011 she won the gold medal and was disqualified with the relay in the preliminary run.

2012 Răzor reached seventh place with the Romanian relay at the European Championships . A few weeks later she took part in the Junior World Championships in Barcelona , where she was sixth in her specialty. With the relay, she was disqualified again in the preliminary round. With her performance she also qualified for the Olympic Games in London, where she was eliminated over 400 meters in the preliminary round. In 2013 he won the silver medal at the Junior European Championships in Rieti , as well as a sixth place in the final with the relay. At the World Championships in Moscow in the same year , the Romanian relay was seventh and they reached the semi-finals over 400 m. At the Francophonie Games, she won the bronze medal in the individual competition and won the Romanian relay. In 2014, Răzor was eighth in the World Indoor Championships and ninth in the European Championships . Over 400 meters she took sixth place in the final.

In 2015 she was eliminated again in the preliminary round of the European Indoor Championships . She won the gold medal at the U23 European Championships . At the World Championships in Beijing in August, she reached the semi-finals with a new personal best and was eliminated with the Romanian relay in the preliminary round . In October she won the silver medal over 400 meters at the World Military Games. Răzor achieved her greatest success so far at the 2016 World Indoor Championships in Portland, when the Romanian relay team ( Adelina Pastor , Mirela Lavric , Andrea Miklós and Bianca Răzor) won the bronze medal behind the USA and Poland. In the individual competition she was eliminated in the semifinals. Later, the relay took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but they did not reach the final. In the individual competition, she was eliminated again in the preliminary round .

In 2017 she qualified again for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , but again failed to qualify for the final. At the Universiade 2017 in Taipei , she won the bronze medal in the individual competition and also with the relay after the team from Ukraine was subsequently disqualified. At the World Championships in London a few weeks earlier, she was eliminated over 400 meters in the semi-finals .
