Blue Danube was an Austrian singing group that was founded to represent Austria at the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest . The title You are music, written by Klaus-Peter Sattler , reached the 8th place. After that you haven't heard from the band.

The group members were Marty Brem , Wolfgang “Marc” Berry , Sylvia Schramm , Rena Mauris and Wolfgang Weiss . After the single was released, two more tracks, Holiday and Rock 'n' Roller Skates, also produced by K. P. Sattler , were recorded. The Eurovision contribution was also available on a promotional video.

The name of the group allegedly refers to the waltz On the beautiful blue Danube , but not to Blue Danube Radio or Linz Airport (Blue Danube Airport).
