The Bodenseeufer area west of Friedrichshafen is a protected area (SG number DE-8322341) in the south-east of the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, designated by the Tübingen regional council according to Directive 92/43 / EEC (Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive) .
location
The approximately 517 hectare nature reserve of the shores of Lake Constance west of Friedrichshafen belongs to the Lake Constance basin . Its three areas are at a height of 388 to 424 m above sea level. NHN and extend into the communities of Hagnau , Immenstaad and Stetten, which are part of the Lake Constance district , as well as the city of Friedrichshafen .
The sub-areas essentially comprise the area of the shores of Lake Constance between Stetten in the northwest (south of the Ehrenstätte) and Hagnau, between Hagnau and the Immenstaad "Kippenhorn", as well as Immenstaad and Friedrichshafen in the southeast.
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the shallow water and bank zone of Lake Constance with the mouth of the Lipbach south of the "Grenzhof".
Habitat types
The diversity of habitat types such as nutrient-poor still waters , small-scale beach lawns, reed stands and alluvial forests are evidence of postglacial landscape development. The protected area is characterized by the following habitats: inland waterways (95%), deciduous forest (3%) and bogs, swamps and bank vegetation (2%).
