Canaro is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2670 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Rovigo in Veneto . The municipality is located about 17.5 kilometers south-southwest of Rovigo on the Po and about 11.5 kilometers north-northeast of Ferrara and borders directly on the province of Ferrara ( Emilia-Romagna ).
