Rosolina is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6294 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Rovigo in Veneto . The municipality is located about 35 kilometers east of Rovigo and about 41 kilometers south-southwest of Venice at the mouth of the Adige and the Adriatic Sea . Rosolina is located in the Venetian part of the Parco regional del Delta del Po in the Polesine and borders directly on the province of Venice .

Economy and Transport

The area is very popular with tourists. In particular, the Isola di Albarella upstream is popular with visitors. Strada Statale 309 Romea , which is also designated as European route 55 , runs through the municipality . On the railway line from Rovigo to Chioggia there is a stop in Rosolina.
