Charles Dierkop

Charles Dierkop (born September 11, 1936 in La Crosse , Wisconsin ) is an American actor .

Life

Born and raised in La Cross, Wisconsin, Charles Dierkop attended Aquinas High School there. He began his acting career at the theater. In 1962 he appeared briefly on Broadway . At that time he was repeatedly seen in small roles in the series Merciless City , but each time uncredited . He had also made his first film appearances, including in Haie der Großstadt (also without his name being mentioned). He then appeared in Sidney Lumet's film The Pawnbroker .
