The Communauté d'agglomération de Châlons-en-Champagne (short: Châlons Agglo ) is a French community association with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on September 21, 2016 and comprises 46 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the city of Châlons-en-Champagne .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

Despite the same name, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
