Bouy is located about 15 kilometers north of the city center of Chalons-en-Champagne on Vesle . Bouy is surrounded by the neighboring communities Livry-Louvercy in the north and west, Mourmelon-le-Grand in the north and north-east, Vadenay in the east, Saint-Hilaire-au-Temple in the south and south-east, La Veuve in the south and Les Grandes-Loges in the Southwest.
