Vésigneul-sur-Marne is located about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Châlons-en-Champagne on the Moivre River and the Canal latéral à la Marne , which here run parallel to the Marne at a distance of about two kilometers . Neighboring communities are Saint-Germain-la-Ville in the north and west, Marson in the north-east, Pogny in the east and south-east and Togny-aux-Bœufs in the south and south-west.

The National Route 44 runs through the municipality .
