Dampierre-au-Temple is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Hilaire-au-Temple in the north, Vadenay in the northeast, Cuperly in the east and northeast, Saint-Étienne-au-Temple in the south and southeast, Saint-Martin-sur-le- Pré in the south and southwest, Recy in the southwest and La Veuve in the west.
