Vienne-la-Ville is located in the Argonne countryside , about 50 kilometers west-north-west of Verdun . Vienne-la-Ville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Servon-Melzicourt in the north, Saint-Thomas-en-Argonne in the northeast, Vienne-le-Château in the east and northeast, Moiremont in the southeast, La Neuville-au-Pont in the south, and Courtémont in the southwest and Berzieux in the west.
