Faux-Vésigneul is located about 19 kilometers south-southeast of Châlons-en-Champagne on the Coole , a tributary of the Marne . Neighboring communities are Coupetz in the north and northwest, Vitry-la-Ville in the northeast, Cheppes-la-Prairie in the east and northeast, Songy in the east, Pringy in the southeast, Coole in the south, Soudé in the southwest and Dommartin-Lettrée in the west.

history

In 1967 Faux-sur-Coole and Vésigneul-sur-Coole were merged to form the municipality of Faux-Vésigneul . In 1970 Fontaine-sur-Coole was incorporated.
