Nuisement-sur-Coole is a French commune with 358 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Châlons-en-Champagne and to the municipal association La Moivre à la Coole, founded in 2013 . The residents are called nuisementais .
geography
Nuisement-sur-Coole is ten kilometers south of Châlons-en-Champagne and about 50 kilometers southeast of Reims an der Coole , a tributary of the Marne in the Champagne sèche , the “dry Champagne”. The area is characterized by a lack of forests, except for the remains of alluvial forest, and by plains covered by large fields. Nuisement-sur-Coole is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Écury-sur-Coole in the north-east, Breuvery-sur-Coole in the south, Vatry and Soudron in the south-east and Cheniers in the north-west.

Economy and Infrastructure
21 farms are located in Nuisement-sur-Coole (cultivation of grain and pulses, gardening farm). There is a butane and propane tank farm in the southwest of the municipality .
The D977 (former Route nationale 77 ) from Châlons-en-Champagne to Troyes and the A 26 autoroute from Reims to Troyes run through the municipality of Nuisement-sur-Coole ; Nuisement-sur-Coole station is on the Orléans- Châlons-en-Champagne railway .
