Cornelia Bernoulli

Cornelia Bernoulli (* 1954 in Basel ) is a Swiss actress . She conceives, writes and produces theater collages .

Life

Cornelia Bernoulli is the daughter of architect Lucas Bernoulli (1907–1976) and Erika Bernoulli-Gries (1919–2014). After graduating from high school, she received her primary school teacher diploma in Basel . In 1978 she obtained an acting diploma from the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen . She was engaged for several years with permanent engagements at theaters in Göttingen , Hildesheim and Kaiserslautern . Since 1985 she has lived and worked as a freelance actress, speaker and author, mainly in Munich .

Bernoulli played classic, modern and comic roles (from the dazzling Vera Donovan in Stephen King's thriller Dolores - director: Ezard Haußmann - to the feng shui-enthusiastic Swiss housekeeper Rita in the comedy Dierue Eva - C.Kilian / N. Schmidt - or the bizarre writer Josephine Zillertal at Schwank Pension Schöller ). She took part in cabaret theater revues and appeared in Munich, among others, in the theater tent Das Schloss , in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof , in the Theater Drehleier and in the Oberanger Theater . In addition, she has toured with Will Quadflieg , Renan Demirkan and Gila von Weitershausen . She has made guest appearances on various stages, including the Ruhr Festival Recklinghausen , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Burgfestspiele Mayen , the Alten Schauspielhaus and the Komödie im Marquardt in Stuttgart, the Domfestspiele Bad Gandersheim , the Ateliertheater Bern , the Stadttheater Chur , on Landestheater Coburg and at the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt.

In 2004/2005 Cornelia Bernoulli produced the experimental feature film Hey! Together with Horst Stenzel . and also wrote the script. She has also worked in various television productions: Among others, solo - directed by Hartmut Schoen , for Das Erste - in less is more - directed by Jan Růžička for Das Erste - in The Dance with the Devil - directed by Peter Keglevic , for Sat.1 - and in Series such as Café Perjury by Franz Xaver Bogner , Um Himmels Willen and various episodes of the crime series SOKO .

Bernoulli was engaged for numerous different readings. From the Deutsches Theatermuseum München (from the correspondence between Marianne Hoppe and Gustaf Gründgens ) and from book publishers. Since 1987 Bernoulli has worked as a spokeswoman for audio book productions at the Bayerische Blindenhörbücherei Munich . She has also worked as a screenwriter and teaches breathing and speaking techniques , role studies and text design. Bernoulli develops various scenic-literary programs with which she and her respective colleagues tour across the German-speaking cultural landscape. In November 2017, Cornelia Bernoulli received the Zonta Fünf-Seen-Land media award in Bavaria for play, production and representation in Luther's lust and love . As one of the former partners of the Swiss director Josef Scheidegger , she was seen in Eva Vitija's documentary about her father in 2015: Turning life - how my father tried to hold onto happiness .
