Daniel "Dani" Ceballos Fernández (born August 7, 1996 in Seville ) is a Spanish football player . The central midfielder is on loan from Real Madrid to Arsenal and is a Spanish international .
Career
society
Ceballos comes from the youth of Sevilla FC and came to Betis Sevilla in 2011 via CD Utrera . On April 26, 2014, he came in the 0-1 home game against Real Sociedad San Sebastián for his first appearance in the Primera División when he came on in the 81st minute for Lorenzo Reyes . At this point the relegation of the club to the Segunda División was already certain. For the new season, Ceballos should play for the second team of the club in the third-class Segunda División B , but after only four games came more and more frequently in the first team. On December 21, 2014, he scored his first goal in professional football with a 2-0 home win against Racing Santander with the 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Ceballos came in the season to 32 missions and five goals and thus had a significant share in the championship and the associated return to the Primera División.
In the 2017/18 season , Ceballos moved to Real Madrid . He signed a six-year contract. With the club he won the Spanish Supercup , the UEFA Super Cup and the UEFA Champions League in his first season and was FIFA Club World Champion .
For the 2019/20 season, Ceballos switched to Arsenal FC on loan in the Premier League for one year .
National team
Ceballos made his debut on November 13, 2014 in a 2-0 home win against Germany for the Spanish U19 national team when he came on for David Concha in the 76th minute . Two days later he made his starting line-up debut in a 5-1 win over France . In July 2015 he took part with the team at the U19 European Championship in Greece and won the title with her. Ceballos played his first game for the U21 team on March 26, 2015 in a 2-0 win over Norway . In June 2017 he and the team took part in the U21 European Championship in Poland . Spain lost the final against Germany with 0: 1 , Ceballos was then the best player of the tournament award.
On September 11, 2018, Ceballos made his debut in a 6-0 win in the UEFA Nations League against Croatia in the senior national team .
In 2019 Ceballos took part in the U21 European Championship again and played all five tournament games. In the final, Spain met Germany again and this time won 2-1 . Subsequently, Ceballos was elected to the team of the tournament .
