Detroit Falcons was the name of a US basketball franchise from Detroit , Michigan that played in the BAA , later the NBA , for the 1946-1947 season.

The team was formed in 1946 and played in the Basketball Association of America (BAA). In their only season 1946-47 they achieved a statistic of 20 wins and 40 losses. In 1947 the team disbanded.
