The German national floorball team represents the Floorball Association Germany at international matches and tournaments in the sport of floorball (also known as floorball).

history

The first international match with German participation in this relatively young sport took place on February 20, 1994 in Konstanz against the Czech Republic, which the Czechs won 9-1. The following year the team took part in the European Championship in Switzerland, but lost all five games. The first win followed at the 1996 World Cup (11-0 against Singapore). Since then, the German national floorball team has played regularly in international tournaments and has also played friendly matches. The 82nd international match took place on April 27, 2008. Christian Fritsche has played the most international matches so far , 66 since 1997.
