Home video publishing

On November 23, 2004, some episodes of the series were re-released on DVD . For this, the original title has now been changed to Star Wars Animated Adventures: Ewoks . This makes the connection to Star Wars clearer, even for those who do not recognize the Ewoks as part of the Star Wars universe without knowledge of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi . For this purpose, 4 episodes were cut into a film: Episodes 1–3 & 9 as The Haunted Village and Episodes 4–5, 10 & 13 as Tales from the Endor Woods . The remaining episodes were not released on DVD. At the same time, the other animated series from the Star Wars universe, Friends in Space (original title originally Droids ) was re-released on DVD under the same title scheme as Star Wars Animated Adventures: Droids .
