Attendees

For Germany the were German champions , the Braunschweig Lions , and the EFAF Cup winner last year, the Berlin Adler , at the start. The Berliners just failed in the qualifying round to La Courneuve Flash from France. The Lions won their group, but then failed in the quarterfinals to the Swarco Raiders Tirol from Innsbruck with 7:35. The national champions, the Graz Giants , defending champions Swarco Raiders Tirol and record champion Vienna Vikings started for Austria . All three representatives were set and thus only entered the competition in the quarter-finals. Both the Viennese (in the quarter-finals) and the Graz (semi-finals) failed at La Courneuve. The Raiders, on the other hand, were able to stop La Courneuve's triumphant advance in the final.
