The Ecuadorian U-17 national soccer team is a selection team of Ecuadorian soccer players . It is subject to the Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol and represents it internationally at U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at U-17 South American Championships and U-17 World Championships .
So far, the teams have participated in three world championships. After she was eliminated in the preliminary round in 1987 , she reached the quarter-finals in her own country in 1995 , which she lost to Argentina . In 2011 she was eliminated in the round of 16 against Brazil .
At the South American Championships she reached third place four times ( 1985 , 1986 , 2005 and 2015 ) and fourth place once ( 2011 ).
