The Ecuadorian U-20 national soccer team is a selection team of Ecuadorian soccer players. It is subject to the Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at the U-20 South American and U-20 World Cups .
The team qualified for the World Cup in 2001 and 2011 and were eliminated in the round of 16. 2017 was the end of the preliminary round.
At the South American Championships, Ecuador won the title for the first time in February 2019. Two years earlier, Ecuador had taken second place and before that three times fourth place ( 1992 , 1995 and 2011 ).
