The 2011 U-20 South American Football Championship took place in Peru from January 16, 2011 to February 6, 2011 .

The matches to determine the tournament winner were held in the cities of Arequipa , Moquegua and Tacna . The national teams of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela took part in the tournament.

The game was played in two groups, followed by a final phase, also in group mode. Brazil emerged victorious from the event . Places two to four went to the national teams from Uruguay , Argentina and Ecuador . The top scorer of the tournament was Brazilian Neymar with nine goals.
