Ernst Lissinna

Ernst Lissinna (born January 23, 1934 in Angerapp , East Prussia ) is a German officer ( retired major general ). He was u. a. Commander of the Army Officers School and the 1st Panzer Division .

Promotions

Lissina was a member of the Federal Border Police in Glückstadt in 1954/55 and attended the BGS driving school in Lübeck . In 1956 he joined the Bundeswehr and became a platoon leader in the Munster Panzer Grenadier Training Battalion. From 1957 to 1959 he was a telecommunications officer in the training battalion at the Army Officer School II in Husum / Hamburg. In 1960 he became company commander in the training battalion of the Army Officer School II in Hamburg. From 1964 to 1967 he was S3 and S1 in the Panzer Grenadier Brigade 32 in Schwanewede. In 1967 he became head of inspections and in 1969 tactics teacher at the Army Officer School.

From 1971 to 1975 he was commander of the Panzer Grenadier Training Battalion 92 in Munster. From 1975 to 1980 he served as the head of Army Liaison Staff 9 at the US Army Infantry School in Fort Benning , Georgia. In 1980/81 he was deputy commander of Panzer Brigade 2 in Braunschweig. In 1981 he became a stage manager officer training in the Army Office (HA) in Cologne. From 1985 to 1988 he was in command of the 31st Panzer Grenadier Brigade in Oldenburg.

Then he was commander of the Army Officers School (OSH) in Hanover. From 1991 to 1994 he was in command of the 1st Panzer Division in Hanover. In 1994 he was retired.

He is married and has two children.
