from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article covers the Russian national football team at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup . Russia took part in the Confederations Cup for the first time and, as the host of the 2018 World Cup, was automatically qualified for this tournament.

Squad

Alexander Belenow , Roman Neustädter , Andrei Semjonow and Roman Sobnin were deleted from the provisional list. Artyom Dzjuba also dropped out due to an injury .

Since Roman Neustädter, who played in Turkey, was ultimately not taken into account, Russia was the only participating team that only featured players from the domestic league.
