Florian Reiners
Florian Reiners (born August 30, 1972 in Einbeck ) is a German actor and university professor of speech formation .
Life
Florian Reiners grew up as the fourth of five children in a farming family in Lüthorst, Lower Saxony . At the age of 13 he stood in front of a camera for the first time on the show “Talentschuppen Berlin I”. In the late 1980s he appeared regularly in the midnight shows at the Schmidt Theater in Hamburg . After graduating from high school, he studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . His theater engagements took him to the Schauspielhaus Leipzig , Stadttheater Augsburg , Schlosstheater Celle and Schlossparktheater Berlin , as well as to the Bad Hersfeld Festival and the Cologne Opera . In various classics he played a. a. Amphitryon (Kleist) , Tellheim (Lessing) , Macbeth and Lysander (Shakespeare); in comedies and musicals he interpreted Clifford Bradshaw in " Cabaret ", Yves Montand in "Piaf" and Dr. Otto Siedler in " In the White Horse ". He worked u. a. together with Konstanze Lauterbach , Michael Sturminger and Carlus Padrissa ( La Fura dels Baus ).
In the mid-1990s he played his first continuous television role in the 13-part ZDF family series “Vier wie Wir” and has since been seen regularly in film and television productions. He starred in the short films "The Kissing of Frogs" (director: Katharina Schöde ), "Geier" (director: Adam Zimny, premiere at the Hof International Film Festival ) and in " The floor under your feet " director: Marie Kreutzer , world premiere the 69th Berlin International Film Festival . His work as a speaker includes staged readings and text performances, etc. a. with Per Olov Enquist and Juli Zeh , as well as the world premiere of the music theater project "Osiris - talking to the dead" (director: Brian Michaels , world premiere at the Munich Biennale 2008).
In addition, he has been teaching speech training and speech formation since 2006. a. in teaching positions in the acting department of the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna.
In September 2016 he was appointed professor for speech formation at the Max Reinhardt Seminar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna .
Florian Reiners works freelance for theater and television and lives in Vienna and Hamburg .
