Frank B. McClain

Francis Bernard "Frank" McClain (born April 14, 1864 in Lancaster , Pennsylvania , † October 11, 1925 ibid) was an American politician and lieutenant governor of the state of Pennsylvania.

The businessman was a cattle dealer and a member of the Republicans . In 1895 he was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He remained a member of parliament until 1910, from 1907 to 1909 McClain held the office of speaker there. After returning to Lancaster, he was mayor of the city from 1910 to 1915. With the successful gubernatorial election of Martin Grove Brumbaugh , his running mate McClain served as Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 1915 to 1920 .

Frank B. McClain died in 1925 at the age of 61.
